Bridges to Hope (bridgestohopene.org) is proud to announce the launch of Hope Village, a groundbreaking affordable housing program designed to support individuals transitioning from incarceration back into the community. With all permits officially approved by the City of Lincoln, construction began in June 2025.

Hope Village will include 18 tiny homes, each offering stable, affordable housing for individuals who might otherwise face homelessness. These homes will provide more than just a roof, they will offer dignity, safety, and a fresh start. At the heart of the village will be a community center, providing space for wraparound support services, youth prevention programming, and community-building activities. An on-site donation center will continue the mission of Bridges to Hope by distributing furniture, clothing, and household essentials to individuals rebuilding their lives.

This project is a true community effort, made possible by strong partnerships with local businesses and organizations. Key partners include the City of Lincoln, Millard Lumber, METRO Community College, the Nebraska Department of Corrections, White Castle Roofing, UNL Construction and Engineering, Wellmann Plumbing and Heating, Rezac Construction, ALLO, and JEO Consulting Group. Their dedication, along with the support of generous donors and volunteers, is helping bring this vision to life.

Hope Village represents Bridges to Hope’s unwavering commitment to second chances. As construction begins in 2025, the organization invites the community to join in creating a place where stability, hope, and opportunity come together to transform lives.
