HopeSpoke Directs Fundraising Efforts to Going to the Dogs Campaign

George and Teddy, HopeSpoke’s (hopespoke.org) therapy dogs, make a huge impact on the positive experience a child or adult has when they come in for therapy. This is why HopeSpoke has decided to focus their fundraising efforts during Giving Tuesday and beyond to their new Going to the Dogs campaign. The goal of the campaign is to raise $1,000 or more to help provide dog food, trips to the groomer to keep them fresh for petting and hugging, ongoing veterinarian visits and supplies to clean their teeth and keep up with their special health needs, and to purchase dog toys to help them stay active. A gift of $60 will pay for a trip to the groomer and a gift of $100 will provide food for a month for George and Teddy.

HopeSpoke staff understands the importance of early intervention and treatment of emotional, physical, and/or environmental trauma. The idea is not only to help people engage in healthier behaviors but to help them heal from the pain, restoring hope for a better tomorrow.

“The joy of watching a small child walking George through the halls is amazing, especially since George is part Saint Bernard,” shared Katie McLeese Stephenson, executive director.

HopeSpoke inspires healthy futures for children and families through comprehensive behavioral and mental health services.  To make a gift of any size, go online to hopespoke.org/donate or mail to 2444 O St., Lincoln, NE 68510.
