JDRF is pleased to announce their Walk to Cure Diabetes Team Captain Kick-off Luncheon will take place on July 23rd at The Cornhusker Hotel. The JDRF Lincoln Walk to Cure Diabetes brings people together in a healthy activity for a worthy goal. The Walk is fun for families and builds camaraderie among company employees. It provides hope, empowerment and a sense of community. Participation at this highly publicized Walk shows a commitment to the large scale movement to conquer type 1 diabetes (T1D) one step at a time.
Driven by passionate, grassroots volunteers connected to children, adolescents, and adults with type 1 diabetes (T1D) JDRF is the largest charitable supporter of T1D research. The goal of JDRF is to improve the lives of every person affected by T1D by accelerating progress on the most promising opportunities for curing, better treating, and preventing the disease. To learn more about JDRF and the Walk to Cure Diabetes, please join us at the Team Captain Kick-off Luncheon on Tuesday, July 23rd from 11:30 to 1:00pm.
