La Paz Mexican Restaurant donated the food for the Christmas meal for over 200 clients and volunteers at Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach in December 2013.  This well-known Lincoln restaurant has been donating the Christmas meal for about seven years now.   In fact, La Paz has seized many opportunities to support the Lincoln community by collaborating with several charitable organizations to lend a hand to the less fortunate in our community.  La Paz was one of seven restaurants to participate in the inaugural “Dine Out to Help Out” for the Lincoln Food Bank and they continue to support this important fundraiser each year.  In addition, they provide sponsorship for other “Dine Out to Help Out” fundraisers for a variety of causes including The American Cancer Society, Hope for Heroes, The Federation for the Blind, and Girls Scout. Annually, La Paz donates the lunches or dinners for the more than 100 volunteers working for the “Make-A-Wish” foundation and provides sponsorship for the Special Olympics.

La Paz Mexican Restaurant, located at 321 N. Cotner Blvd, has been in Lincoln for 25 years and believes that Lincoln has been very good to them and they love Lincoln. Consequently, they will always look for new opportunities to give back.
