The Lincoln Community Foundation (ProsperLincoln.org) recently announced the focus areas and professionals who will lead community work groups for Prosper Lincoln 3.0. Prosper Lincoln brings people together to create community-based solutions focused on attaining prosperity for all, in our lifetime and across generations.
Grounded in the newly released 2025 Lincoln Vital Signs report and shaped by hundreds of community conversations, Prosper Lincoln 3.0 centers on three renewed focus areas: Connections, Housing and Early Childhood. Community leaders have been selected as drivers for each focus area.
“Prosper Lincoln is rooted in shared leadership, civic pride and a commitment to building a city where everyone can thrive,” said Foundation President Tracy Edgerton. “The drivers will play a vital role in this vision by combining their expertise, creativity and collaborative spirit to address complex challenges and lift Lincoln higher.”
Amanda Barker, director of community engagement and partnerships at Lincoln Community Foundation, is the driver for the Connections focus area. Alex Labenz, director of policy and strategic engagement at the Coalition for a Strong Nebraska, is the new driver for the Housing focus area. Anne Brandt, executive director of Lincoln Littles, continues as the driver for Early Childhood.
They’ll be joined in these efforts by work groups made up of other community professionals who are central to the Housing, Early Childhood and Connections sectors.
