Lincoln Goodwill Expands Job Connection Center Hours to Serve Job Seekers

Goodwill Industries Serving Southeast Nebraska, Inc. (www.lincolngoodwill.org) has expanded their Job Connection Center hours to Monday-Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at 1731 O St. Job seekers receive one-on-one assistance with resumes, cover letters, online applications, computer education, and more. The Job Connection Center also offers online learning opportunities from Microsoft Office training to help with achieving success in the workplace. In addition, those who are actively seeking employment, newly employed, or have scheduled an interview can visit the Job Connection Center Monday-Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. for the Job Outfitters Program. Eligible participants are issued vouchers that can be used at any Goodwill Lincoln location for employment and interview clothing.

Last year alone, Goodwill served 3,943 individuals with more than 42,000 units of services in the Lincoln community. The people they serve work hard to overcome personal and professional challenges to employment and, in current times of economic uncertainty, they need these services more than ever.
