Lincoln Goodwill Reopens Job Connection Center After Making Significant Changes

With great excitement, Goodwill Lincoln (www.lincolngoodwill.org) has reopened their Job Connection Center located at 1731 O St. Job seekers can once again receive in person assistance in addition to online resources. Individuals may receive guidance with resumes, cover letters, online applications, computer education, and more.

In March, Goodwill made significant changes to its stores and services in adherence with state and local government guidelines on social distancing. This included closing their Job Connection Center, which seeks to maximize the employability of job seekers. Goodwill continued to serve their mission, “willing workers employed and community resources maximized,” by providing services to the community via telephone and email.

Last year alone, Goodwill served 3,943 individuals with over 42,000 units of service in the Lincoln community. The people they serve work hard to overcome personal and professional challenges to employment. In times of such economic uncertainty, these services are needed more than ever.

Temporary hours of operation for the Goodwill Lincoln’s Job Connection Center are Monday through Wednesday, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Visit www.lincolngoodwill.org for online learning or call (402) 477-0436 for more information.
