The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in Alexandria, VA has awarded the Gold EXCEL Award designation to LHRMA for its scope of work in 2011. The Gold level award demonstrates that LHRMA continues to grow and implement strategic initiatives in order to serve it’s members and the community.
The EXCEL Award is the recognition component of the SHRM Affiliate Program for Excellence (SHAPE). SHAPE measures include alignment with SHRM’s overall objectives, strategic focus and initiatives as well as promoting the HR profession at the local level.
LHRMA receives a Certificate of Recognition, a specialized banner to display at its meetings and events, and is being recognized in SHRM’s publications and at its conferences.
LHRMA provides Human Resource Management professionals the opportunity to interchange ideas, experiences, and practices while promoting professional ethics and acquaintanceship. The organization is comprised of 350 HR professionals from the greater Lincoln area and welcomes new members.
