The Lincoln Network Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) is making plans for the Annual Mardi Gras Fundraiser on Tuesday, March 4th.  The event will be held at a NEW location – The Towers Event Center – at 70th and A Street, Clocktower Square, in Lincoln.  The Mardi Gras Party will include a silent auction, raffle and door prizes, and entertainment by The Sarabande Jazz  Band.  Appetizers will feature New Orleans traditional cuisine including Hush Puppies, Jambalaya and King Cake.  A cash bar will also be available.

Money raised from the Mardi Gras event goes to provide educational scholarships to non-traditional students attending two or four year programs.  In 2013 the ABWA Chapter of Lincoln presented over $5,000.00 to three very well-deserving students.   Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, and are available by calling Chellie Williamson at (402) 580-1946.
