Lowe’s to Give 100% of “Be the Change” Donations to Habitat for Humanity
Lowe’s Home Improvement, a committed partner of Habitat for Humanity’s (lincolnhabitat.org) mission, has announced that from January 1 through March 31, 100% of all donations made through Lowe’s “Be the Change” campaign will be directed to Habitat for Humanity International. Retailers are struggling with a national coin shortage. To help put coins back into circulation, Lowe’s is inviting customers to donate their change at the registers to support the mission of Habitat for Humanity. Lowe’s will run the “Be the Change” campaign in all 1,727 Lowe’s locations in the U.S., including Lincoln’s 6101 Apples Way location.
Every day, more and more families are struggling to find and keep a decent roof over their heads. With unpredictable rent increases, overcrowded conditions, or lack of access to affordable financing, these families live with the constant stress of uncertainty and fear.
