The Nebraska Health Care Association (NHCA), as well as affiliates Nebraska Assisted Living Association (NALA), Nebraska Health Care Learning Center and Nebraska Hospice and Palliative Care Association, announces the addition of Katie Pelster, Pamela Truscott, and Kate Walker to its team.
Katie Pelster has been selected to serve as Member Support Coordinator. Pelster will primarily assist in serving the members of the Nebraska Hospice and Palliative Care Association through communication, fundraising, event planning, and general membership administration.
Pamela Truscott, R.N., has been hired as Lead Instructor of the Nebraska Health Care Learning Center, a licensed private post-secondary career school. Truscott will teach Basic Nursing Assistant and Medication Aide Training.
Kate Walker joined NHCA in November as Member Support Coordinator. Walker works closely with vendors and coordinates communications, awards and events.
The Nebraska Health Care Association, Nebraska Assisted Living Association and Nebraska Hospice and Palliative Care Association respectively represent the majority of the state’s nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospices. The Licensed Practical Nurse Association of Nebraska, Nebraska Health Care Foundation and Nebraska Health Care Learning are also affiliated with these nonprofit organizations.
