This month, People’s City Mission (pcmlincoln.org)is highlighting its “Buy One Meal” initiative. One Person. One Meal.
This is a simple yet powerful reminder that just $2.77 can provide a warm meal to someone facing homelessness. Everyone deserves a nice warm meal and behind every meal served is a person in need of hope, dignity, and care. Thanks to support from the community, last year they were able to serve 190,006 meals and 18,581 sack lunches here at People’s City Mission.
With the rate of homelessness increasing, the need for hot meals will increase in 2026. That’s why they are inviting the Lincoln community to commit to feeding at least one person each month, knowing that when many people give a little, it changes a lot!
