REALTORS® Association Celebrates Successful Golf Tournament for Habitat for Humanity
Even though the tournament looked a little bit different this year, REALTORS® Association of Lincoln is happy to report the RAL Golf Tournament on June 18 at Woodland Hills Golf Course benefitting Habitat for Humanity (lincolnhabitat.org) and NeighborWorks was a success. Despite the not-great weather, many sponsor representatives and golfers turned up for the cause and participated under the overcast. Regardless of the weather, many were excited to show up for a great cause.
The REALTORS Association was founded to provide local realtors career-enhancing programs and services. The Association remains active in political issues regarding fair housing, roads and infrastructure, job growth and economic expansion, as well as quality of life and the affordability of housing in Lincoln. Funds from the tournament will go directly towards supporting low-income families as they build strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable shelter provided by Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln. Since their inception in 1988, Habitat for Humanity has housed more than 750 men, women, and children in the Lincoln community by building/repairing more than 162 homes.
