One of the most effective ways to engage employees in your business is providing them with the skills and training to live safe and healthy lives at home and in the workplace. The Nebraska Safety Council (NESC, nesafetycouncil.org) offers a variety of safety training and wellness services. Public and on-site training is available. On-site training offers the flexibility for employers to host training over the lunch hour, during weekly, monthly or quarterly meetings, or after-hours.

Training from January-March includes: Confined Spaces, CPR/AED Only, D.O.T. Hazardous Materials Refresher, First Aid Only, First Aid/CPR/AED, Forklift Safety, HazWoper, IATA/ICAO Dangerous Goods Air Transportations, Incident Commander, Job Hazard Analysis, OSHA, Recognizing Drug Impairment and Worker 360 Workshop.

Nicotine Cessation Classes are available in two sessions, with session number one occurring January 10 – February 14 and session number two occurring February 28 – April 3.
