Nationwide in March, Jersey Mike’s launched their “Month of Giving” raising a record breaking $31 million to help more than 200 local charities including TeamMates (lincolnteammates.org) of Lincoln. During Jersey Mike’s “Day of Giving” on March 26, TeamMates of Lincoln received 100% of local sales.
“We are so grateful for this partnership,” said Jim Bennett, TeamMates of Lincoln Coordinator. “The Jersey Mike’s team has always been great to work with and this year they took it to another level.”
TeamMates staff enjoyed greeting guests at both Jersey Mike’s locations and thanking them for showing up to support TeamMates of Lincoln. Carly Bool, a TeamMates staff member who experienced her first Jersey Mike’s Day of Giving said, “It was such a fun and meaningful day for us. There was an amazing turnout by the community and the Jersey Mike’s team is awesome!”
Customers had a win-win, enjoying great food for a great cause. Christine Davis applauded the partnership with the Jersey Mike’s crew, “This is a very impactful day for us. Not only from a fundraising perspective, but also the opportunity to connect with the greater community.”
Lincoln TeamMates makes a significant impact locally and beyond by inspiring youth to reach their full potential through mentoring.
