The Arc of Lincoln (arclincoln.org) is inviting businesses and community members to celebrate Harvest Moon 2026: Seeds to Success on Thursday, October 15, at the Scottish Rite Center.
As The Arc of Lincoln’s signature annual fundraiser, Harvest Moon celebrates the individuals, families and community partnerships that create opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Tickets are on sale now, and businesses are encouraged to attend with their teams or become a Harvest Moon Partner. Partnerships directly support year-round
advocacy, social and recreational programs, family support, youth opportunities and inclusive community experiences.
Guests will enjoy dinner, inspiring stories, awards, and live and silent auctions while seeing firsthand the impact of supporting Lincoln’s IDD community.
The celebration continues Saturday, November 7, with Honey FunDay featuring the Bee You Marketplace: A Holiday Market with Heart at Morrow Collision South. Honey Sunday has deep Nebraska roots, beginning in Grand Island in 1963 when families raised funds to help pay a special education teacher’s salary. More than 60 years later, The Arc of Lincoln is carrying that sweet tradition forward with Honey FunDay—combining the beloved Honey Sunday tradition with a festive community marketplace.
Vendor booths are available, and shoppers are encouraged to attend, shop local and support inclusion.
