On Dec. 5, the Sowers Club (thesowersclub.com) will dedicate the evening to celebrating its 2025 successes.  This year, the organization strengthened the community by providing:

  • Financing for the construction of a house in Lincoln in partnership with the Lincoln Housing Authority and the residential construction class at Northeast High School.
  • Scholarships for high school graduates attending Nebraska colleges or universities.
  • Scholarships for continuing education at Nebraska colleges or universities, including the Bryan College of Health Sciences.
  • Grants to Southeast Community College for its new Welding Technology program, as well as scholarships for welding and the Robert Milton Culinary Arts Scholarship.
  • A grant to the Food Bank of Lincoln.
  • A grant to the Orphan Grain Train for its new meal packaging room at the warehouse facility.
  • A grant to the Clinic with a Heart for children’s health, including school physicals and the vision voucher program.

Every year, the Sowers Club focuses on its mission of improving the lives of Nebraskans and promoting pride throughout the state by sowing goodwill through charitable giving.
