A Well Being (awellbeingpt.org) is pleased to announce that Dr. Casey has successfully completed recertification as a certified athletic trainer and renewed her licensure as a physical therapist in the state of Nebraska.
The Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers requires certified athletic trainers to complete 50 continuing education credits and maintain current CPR certification. In addition, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services requires licensed physical therapists to complete 20 continuing education hours and CPR certification to maintain licensure.
Dr. Casey will also continue her long-standing professional memberships with the National Athletic Training Association and the American Physical Therapy Association. She has been a member of the National Athletic Training Association for 16 years and the American Physical Therapy Association for 11 years.
Affiliation with national professional organizations reflects Dr. Casey’s ongoing commitment to professional development, public awareness, advocacy for the athletic training and physical therapy professions, and service to the community.
