The Waterford Communities (www.thewaterford.net) is pleased to welcome Christy Merritt as the new executive director of The Waterford at Williamsburg assisted living community.
Merritt brings 18 years of marketing, business and leadership experience to her new position. A Kansas native, she is a graduate of Wichita State University. Her compassion for people and desire to make a difference has been the key point of motivation that has furthered her career and led her to this new opportunity with The Waterford Communities. Christy is extremely excited to become a part of the assisted living family of professionals and to be able to help others transition into their new home at The Waterford at Williamsburg.
The Waterford Communities have three assisted living locations in Lincoln. The newest Waterford community at Wilderness Hills, located at 27th and Yankee Hill, provides memory care in a home-like setting. The Waterford at College View on 4848 South 48th Street offers higher levels of assisted living care and The Waterford at Williamsburg, located on the corner of 40th and Pine Lake, provides assisted living care. Each community specializes in providing a variety of housing and care needs for mature adults and a welcoming atmosphere for their families.
