Community Health Charities Welcomes New Board Members

Community Health Charities of Nebraska (CHC-NE; www.chcne.org) has announced Sheila Odom of Eakes Office Solutions as the new chair of the Lincoln Board of Directors. In addition, Colleen Mueller, South Lincoln Dermatology Clinic, has also joined the Board as the March of Dimes, Nebraska and Western Iowa Market Representative.

Odom previously served as vice chair of the Lincoln Board as the Susan G. Komen Great Plains Representative. “I’ve been involved with the United Way/CHC campaign in multiple ways now for around 15 years, and through that time, I learned so much about the partnership with CHC-NE and what these amazing agencies provide to our community. I can say from personal experience that this is an excellent Board of caring individuals, and it was a privilege to be asked to serve as Chair,” Odom said.

Odom will serve as Board chair as the organization rebrands to its original name, CHAD (Combined Health Agencies Drive), effective July 1, and will also lead the Board in support of the annual campaign in partnership with United Way of Lincoln and Lancaster County.
