Commonwealth Holdings, Inc. has hired Erin Ebeler as Vice President of Risk Management and In-House Counsel, where she leads legal, contractual and enterprise risk management efforts across the organization and its subsidiaries, including Commonwealth Electric Company of the Midwest, Confluence Technology Group and Rydalch Electric.

Ebeler brings nearly 20 years of experience advising construction and business organizations on complex legal and operational risk matters.

Prior to joining Commonwealth, she spent many years at Woods Aitken LLP, specializing in construction law, labor and employment and commercial litigation. In that role, she worked closely with leadership and project teams on compliance, contract risk, dispute resolution and workplace policies, while also representing employers in legal proceedings.

In her new position, she partners with executive leadership and project teams to proactively identify and mitigate risk. Her responsibilities include contract review and negotiation, development of risk management standards, advising on claims and disputes, coordinating with outside counsel and establishing consistent risk management practices to support operational excellence and long-term growth.

Ebeler holds degrees in Finance and Law, both with highest distinction, from the University of Nebraska, and is licensed to practice in Nebraska and Colorado. She is also an active leader in the construction law community through the ABA Forum on Construction Law.
