The Home Builders Association of Lincoln (hbal.org) announced the winners of the Interior & Residential Design Contest at the 54th annual Nebraska Builders Home & Garden Show held at the Sandhills Global Event Center February 13-15. The two categories judged were Residential Drafting and Interior Design.
Winners of the Residential Drafting Contest:
First Place, $200 – Avery Stohs, Lincoln Southwest High School
Second Place, $150 – Connor Boyle, Lincoln Southwest High School
Third Place, $100 – Evan Vondrak, Lincoln North Star High School
Winners of the Interior Design Contest:
First Place, $200 – Silvy Munn, Lincoln Southwest High School
Second Place, $150 – Emily Hinze, Lincoln Southwest High School
Third Place, $100 – Becca Woods, Lincoln Southeast High School
Residential Drafting judges were Marlene Stroup, Schwinn Homes, LLC and Dan Loeck, Loeck Designs. Interior Design judges were Pam Magner, Reynolds Design & Remodeling; Megan Dreyer; Personal Touch Design; Kelli Fleek, True North Custom Homes; Heidi Polacek, Lincoln Cabinet; Amy Vahle, Rainwood Interiors and Jenny Huls, Willet Construction. Chair of the annual contest is Pam Magner.
