Stepping Stones for Families Welcomes New Counselor Kelly Williams

The Stepping Stones for Families (SSF) Program has announced the hiring of Kelly Williams, PLADC, PLMHP. Kelly will conduct alcohol and drug evaluations, mental health assessments and provide outpatient counseling and treatment services.

Kelly received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Relations and her Master’s in Counseling from Doane College. She has worked at the Crisis Center since 2008.

Stepping Stones for Families is nationally accredited for substance abuse services through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). As a Region V Provider for Substance Abuse Services, fees are assessed on a sliding fee scale for those who don’t have insurance. All individuals are welcome and pregnant women and/or IV drug users are given priority admission. For those seeking mental health services, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medicaid are accepted.

Stepping Stones for Families advocates for families by connecting them with resources, meeting basic needs and offering support and services for those struggling with behavioral health issues.
