The Arc of Lincoln Recognizes Lindsay Stanley’s Positive Efforts in the Community

Lindsay Stanley, a board member for The Arc of Lincoln (advocacypartnership.org) for over four years, brings experience on different types of behavior support and therapies that parents can utilize for their loved ones within the community. Lindsay has been an extremely helpful component when it comes to supporting families with loved ones with special needs by referring them to The Arc of Lincoln to find opportunities in the local area. Being an active member in the community, she is also the owner and clinical supervisor of the Autism Family Services of Lincoln and is dedicated to helping families in the community. By having a successful woman owned and operated business, Lindsay is a great role model for young women within the community, especially for her two daughters. She involves her husband, Jeremy, and their two daughters in The Arc of Lincoln events which also helps bring community inclusion into their events.

Incorporated by a group of parents in 1967, The Arc of Lincoln encourages and provides opportunities for those with developmental disabilities to lead productive lives and achieve their full potential. Their vision for the future is to live in a caring, inclusive community where people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are embraced and offered encouragement, support, security, and opportunity.
