True North Technologies Welcomes Abby Dowd to their Team as a Sales Assistant

True North Technologies (go-tnt.com), a Lincoln-based business launched by Renee Sobotka, recently brought Abby Dowd onto the team as a sales assistant. Through numerous work experiences, Abby has learned and acquired strategic, collaborative, and communication skills to bring to the True North Technologies team. She is currently a senior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln studying advertising and public relations, with minors in business administration and communication studies. She plans to graduate in May of 2021. In her time at the University, Abby has been active in attaining expertise in strategic development, design thinking, and sales-marketing communication. She has also been engaged with Jacht, a student-run advertising agency overseen by faculty. At this agency, she has been exposed to both team and client work that aided her growth in professional and interpersonal skills. She is excited to apply these skills at True North Technologies.

Abby is originally from Des Moines, Iowa. She enjoys live music, cheering on the Huskers, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
