Union Bank & Trust (UBT)(ubt.com) recently promoted Andrew Kafka to Vice President, Senior Trust Officer, and Manager of Personal Trust & Wealth Management.
Kafka joined UBT as a legal intern in 2003. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Nebraska Law School in 2005, and he is an active member of the Nebraska State Bar Association. In his new role, Kafka will continue to administer a diverse portfolio of accounts and work closely with the department head of Personal Trust & Wealth Management as his leadership responsibilities continue to grow.
Kafka is the past president of the Lincoln Parks Foundation, and he currently serves on the American Bankers Association Trust Schools Board and the Trust 360: A Virtual Symposium board. He is also involved in his community, serving as a high school youth group leader at his church as well as on the Spring Creek Prairie Advisory Board.
