Union Bank & Trust recently hired Katie Thompson as Vice President of Private Banking & Commercial Lending. Thompson comes to Union Bank with ten years of industry experience including eight years as a Commercial Lender. Her responsibilities include building relationships with Commercial and Private Banking clients and partnering in their continued growth and success. She graduated from the University of Nebraska—Lincoln with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration-Finance, and she is a Graduate of the College of Commercial Credit.
Thompson serves as Vice Chair for the United Way Emerging Leaders Council, Board Member for Rotary Club #14, Secretary of the Board of Directors for Goodwill Industries Serving Southeast Nebraska and Board Member for Boys and Girls Club of Lincoln and Lancaster County. She was recognized as the 2013 Volunteer of the Year by her previous employer.
