Christian Record Services, Inc. (www.christianrecord.org) is pleased to announce the promotion of Yohanna Santana to assistant director of member services and studio.

Santana has enjoyed helping people her whole life and now that includes supporting Hispanic members with library services. She helps maintain the member database and digital cartridges in the lending library, field member phone calls, and prepare books and resources for distribution. Santana also translates documents and media from English to Spanish and is responsible for coordinating the production of the quarterly El Centinela audio magazine and other Spanish language resources.

In the past year, Christian Record Services has expanded its Spanish materials thanks to Santana’s efforts. She has been instrumental in the process of adding new Spanish audio books to the lending library and creating a special Christmas audio program to mail to all Spanish-speaking members.

“Yohanna has contributed immensely to enhancing services to our more than 300 Spanish-speaking members who are blind in the United States and those we serve abroad, and she has intentionally engaged them to better understand how best to respond to their needs. I’m so grateful Yohanna joined our team in June 2021; she is an exceptionally creative, positive addition,” stated Diane Thurber, president.

Christian Record Services continues to move forward with its mission to “empower people who are blind to engage their communities and embrace the Blessed Hope.” For more information, please visit www.christianrecord.org.
