Lauren Hamann, cousin to co-founder Don Hamann, played an instrumental role in shaping Sartor Hamann Jewelers into the trusted, community-centered business it is today. Serving as past Vice President, he led with a steady presence grounded in kindness, compassion, and genuine care for both employees and customers.
Before his time in the family business, Lauren served in the military during the Korean War. He often reflected on that chapter of his life with deep gratitude, sharing that every day after returning home to Nebraska was “the best day of his life.” It was a perspective that shaped how he lived—without complaint and with appreciation for each moment.
Known for his generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand, Lauren left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. His leadership and character helped define the culture of Sartor Hamann, where relationships and trust remain at the heart of the business.
He will be deeply missed by the Sartor Hamann team, as well as the many customers and community members whose lives he touched.
