Friendship Home (friendshiphome.org) is hosting their annual fundraising event Illuminate: Hope Shines Here on Thursday, October 22, at The Rococo Theatre. This is their biggest event of the year and is held in October during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The event is dedicated to raising awareness and generating critical support for survivors of domestic violence and their children.
Illuminate is a reminder that those experiencing domestic violence are not alone. The event shine’s a light on the strength and resilience of those who have experienced abuse. Illuminate will feature food, drinks, and an auction where guests can bid for donated experiences. It is a great night to dress up, refl ect on Friendship Home’s impact and gather to support survivors.
