Tabitha (tabitha.org) in Crete has become one of only two living communities in Nebraska to receive the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living’s (AHCA/NCAL) Silver Achievement in Quality Award in 2022.

“The Silver Quality Award is the result of hard work by a very dedicated, compassionate team that’s laser-focused on delivering customer-centric care,” said Sherri Due, administrator for Tabitha in Crete. “I am both proud and grateful for these exceptional Tabitha Residences to receive this recognition. It is our goal to learn what matters most to the residents and their families, and to provide quality-based solutions to meet and exceed their expectations.”

This recognition is a result of Tabitha’s outstanding commitment to quality care. Focused on delivering long-term skilled nursing, the two residential-style Tabitha in Crete houses also hold perfect, five star overall quality ratings from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Tabitha was the second in the nation to introduce these types of innovative homes and continuously strives to meet the ever-growing needs of seniors.

As the state’s quality award-winning senior care expert, nonprofit Tabitha empowers people to live joyfully, age gratefully. Supporting families since 1886 across Nebraska, Tabitha offers a range of services, from results-driven rehabilitation, accessible at-home health care, innovative living communities, resourceful serious illness support, and compassionate hospice services.
