The Arc of Lincoln Announces 2022 Arc Expeditions Book of Trips

The Arc of Lincoln (www.arclincoln.org) is excited to announce that they have released their 2022 Arc Expeditions Book of Trips. The Arc Expeditions coordinate fun and exciting vacations for individuals with developmental disabilities. Vacations range from trips close to home like the Iowa State Fair, a Husker Football game, and a Saltdogs Baseball Game, to trips further away such as Branson, Kansas City, or Minnesota. Vacationers pay for the trip of their choice, and Arc Expeditions sends trained supervision with the group.

All 2022 Arc Expeditions out-of-town trips are by van. Transportation, meals, lodging (if applicable), tickets to all planned events and sponsors are included in each expedition. To register for an expedition or to learn more, visit advocacypartnership.org/arcexpeditions.

The Arc of Lincoln empowers people with developmental disabilities and their families to promote and protect their rights and interests while enriching the quality of their lives. The Arc’s desire is for all Lincoln residents to understand the needs, challenges, and contributions of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and the entire community is vested in assuring equitable opportunities and positive outcomes. They also organize an adult social club that equips transition-aged (roughly 17-21) persons with developmental disabilities with the social and life skills they will need to be successful after they graduate. Visit Hands of Heartland at 7501 O St. on the first Friday of every month to play bingo with the Arc of Lincoln! In addition, consider donating to the Arc of Lincoln this upcoming Give to Lincoln Day.
