The Nebraska Center for Excellence in Electronics (NCEE) is continuously looking for ways to better serve the manufacturing and design industry in Nebraska.  One way is through a new partnership with the Nebraska Manufacturers Extension Partnership (NMEP).  The NMEP is a state organization under the Nebraska Department of Economic Development and reports to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.  This partnership will help connect manufacturers with the services provided at NCEE and promote growth for all parties involved.
The NMEP is an organization that helps bring top-shelf business and technical resources to the hands of small and mid-sized manufacturers.  They accomplish this by utilizing a network of partnering organizations and third party service providers to help Nebraska manufacturers and processors find solutions to their problems.  Offering these solutions to organizations that otherwise would do without helps to strengthen manufacturing and ultimately economic conditions in the area.  Businesses can find help by contacting the NMEP or by asking an NMEP partner about the program.  The service providing partners include: Nebraska Business Development Center, UNL Food Processing Center, Nebraska Central Community College and Nebraska Center for Excellence in Electronics (NCEE).
