Personal Banking Like You Remember

Since 1906, Lincoln Federal Savings Bank (lincolnfed.com) has been sharing the “Lincoln Federal difference” with the community through personalized service and a commitment to the community. Founded as a mutual holding company, and still operating as one today, Lincoln Federal is owned by the depositors of the Bank and does not have any outside shareholders. This structure allows the Bank to offer highly competitive rates to customers on both loans and deposits, as profits are not distributed to shareholders.

Today, Lincoln Federal has grown to over $350 million in assets by providing full-service banking in nine Nebraska communities. With just over 100 employees, Lincoln Federal continues to deliver the quality banking products and services that have become its motto of “Personal Banking Like You Remember.”

Community

Lincoln Federal takes pride in the magnitude and generosity of its employees. The Bank is committed to giving back to the communities they serve, and here are just a few of the many ways they do just that:

Annual Make-A-Wish® Golf Tournament

Lincoln Federal Savings Bank celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2006 and formed a Centennial Committee with a goal of giving back to the Lincoln community through volunteering and charitable donations. They wanted to organize a benefit golf tournament and The Make-A-Wish® Foundation of Nebraska was a great fit. What started off as a benefit tournament for their centennial year celebration has evolved into a very successful annual partnership that makes dreams come true for children diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions.

LincolnFED Kids Program

In 2005, the employees at Lincoln Federal came together to create the LincolnFED Kids program to raise money to provide these in-need students and their families with baskets of food over the Christmas holiday break. The Bank and its employees promote this program throughout the year with many different fundraising opportunities.

Junior Achievement of Lincoln

Lincoln Federal has been involved with Junior Achievement of Lincoln since 2009 with volunteers in 98 classrooms in Lincoln’s public and parochial schools. The Bank is able to further support their programs through fundraising efforts by participating in Junior Achievement’s Annual Bowl-A-Thon.

Casual for a Cause

Each Friday throughout the year, Lincoln Federal employees are encouraged to dress Casual for a Cause. This means that the employees can dress down for a fee. At the end of the year, each location chooses a local charity to benefit with the funds raised.
