Beyond the products and staff found in the store, Lincoln Running Company is hosting Cookie Runs every Wednesday at 6 p.m. starting at the downtown store and ending with warm cookies from The Cookie Company. Along with this, Lincoln Running Company helps support local runs and marathon like helping with clean up, set up or general support and encouragement for runners.
For manager, Ann Ringlein, the store is more than what is appears. Running and fitness has been engrained in her whole life and is truly passionate about well being for herself and runners alike.
When she’s not running, she helping someone else aspire to run miles. At her Beginner’s Luck classes, they are built to increase endurance, strength and confidence. Speakers throughout these classes talk about different aspects and struggles to running. They also offer solutions like stretches or routines that can make a new runner easily transformed into a strong runner. Ending the 8 week class with a 5K, the class emphasizes the running community, supporting one another and finding the joy in running.
