Hello everyone! My journey at Strictly Business has been quite the learning experience thus far! I can’t believe I’ve been with the SB family for almost a year…time sure does fly by when you’re having fun! Working in the advertising business has helped me to become much more knowledgeable in everything that’s going on in our community, as well as with local businesses. I’ve learned how important it is to shop locally, and especially how much this really affects our community as a whole. We all need to be a little more careful with where we’re spending our money and who we want to support—our community and local businesses, or corporations and online retailers?  I hope all of you enjoy reading our Supporting Local Economy story…there’s so much good information in it and I hope all of you learn something!

Now that the weather is getting nicer (summer is almost here!), it’s a perfect time to have a company retreat! It’s a perfect way to strengthen your team while having fun doing it! There are endless possibilities and it’s never too early to start planning. The Strictly Business girls have already started planning our company retreat, which we are all very excited about! This will be my first company trip, so I’m sure it will be an adventure!

Lastly, I would like to announce some information about our annual Best Dressed Soiree event! This year it will be held on September 27th at the newly remodeled Ramada Plaza Omaha, so be sure to mark your calendars! As always, this will be an event you don’t want to miss! More details coming soon, but keep checking our website as we will be updating it with more information on the event—and be sure to submit your nominations for this year’s Best Dressed!
