Tell us a little about your business.

My fellow interventional radiologists and I perform minimally-invasive, image-guided procedures for many conditions that formerly required invasive, traditional surgery. I recently joined AMI as we are growing our services to include an ambulatory surgery center.

How did you get started in the business?

Growing up, I had role models that I wanted to emulate in various medical professions. I was fortunate to have some of those people take me under their wing and support my interest in medicine.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally?

Remaining disciplined during long periods of nice weather to study for standardized tests.

What has been your most important achievement professionally?

Remaining focused enough to graduate from fellowship which was, coincidentally, the year that I met my wife.

Tell us a little about your family.

I met my wife, Lauren, during fellowship and she is a nurse practitioner. My dog, Linus, is a large poodle with a big appetite for socks. His vet back in Richmond misses him dearly.
