Tell us a little about your business.

We represent clients in the areas of criminal law, family law, and personal injury law. The firm has grown over the years to meet the needs of our clients. In 2005, the firm moved to its current address of 1003 H St., which is the restored “Candy House.” Our firm is honored to have restored the house to its original beauty and condition. Located across the street from the Lancaster County Courthouse, its location allows for immediate and convenient access to the courts. The cornerstone of our practice is our commitment to clients. We recognize that the most successful legal solutions are the result of a strong relationship between our firm and our clients. We have built our reputation as effective advocates for our clients and look forward to serving you in the future.

How did you get started in the business?

I graduated from law school in 1995 and worked for a small firm in Omaha for exactly six months. I saved every dollar that I was paid. I knew I wanted to start my own firm but did not have the capital. After six months, I had saved $10,000, bought a computer, leased an office, and started Pollack Law Office.

What has been your most important achievement professionally?

Growing from a sole practitioner to a thriving three-attorney firm in downtown Lincoln. In 2000, John Ball joined the firm which is now Pollack & Ball. A few years later, Tina Marroquin joined as our third attorney. Tina was appointed as a District Court Judge and then Heather Colton joined as an associate attorney and is now a partner.
