The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce (www.lcoc.com) is excited to announce the return of its popular seasonal signs, just in time for the heart of summer. Signs are now scattered throughout the Capital City. The public can view the 15 different seasonal signs currently placed throughout the downtown and Haymarket areas. Additional signs will be positioned throughout the community in the coming days, including in various Lincoln neighborhoods.
Popular summer slogans, television and movie references, and other summer-themed subjects inspired this year’s signs, as the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce continues to embrace this fun, semiannual tradition.
Since 2014, seasonal sign campaigns have appeared at various times of the year, including one promoting the solar eclipse in August 2017. In 2018, the Chamber’s seasonal signs were honored with a Communications Excellence Award from the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) in the advertising and marketing categories. The Lincoln Chamber was one of 41 chambers nationwide to receive an Award of Excellence from the ACCE that year.
The Chamber encourages residents to find the signs, take photos and post them on social media. In total, more than 60 signs will adorn the streets of Lincoln as the summer months continue.
