Boiler Brewing Company
Great beer, great service, great space. Boiler Brewing Company (www.boilerbrewingcompany.com) and tap room is scheduled to open in late winter and is located at 129 N. 10th Street in the historic Grand Manse building. The stature of the building lends itself perfectly to the big, bold beers that brewmaster Tim Thomssen prefers to make. Aside from the ever rotating list of beers, an eclectic wine selection and wine dispensing machines will be available. Boiler Brewing Company prides itself on great beer, attentive table service and food served in a stately atmosphere where the glasses are never empty.
Tim Thomssen’s accolades as a home brewer are unparalleled. Most notably, Tim is one of three winners of the 2015 Sam Adams “Long-Shot” award. Tap room manager Thad Aerts worked for the past 18 years with behavior disorder teens in a residential setting while also moonlighting as a bartender. Together, they are excited to execute their vision of a craft beer brewery and tap room.
