Lincoln’s First Chick-fil-A Restaurant Now Open

Lincoln’s long-anticipated first stand-alone Chick-fil-A® (https://www.facebook.com/chickfilaLincoln) restaurant opened on October 28, bringing nearly 80 new jobs, the chance for 100 adults to win free Chick-fil-A meals for a year and the opportunity for community members to donate books that will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster County.

Along with the “First 100” celebration, which transformed the restaurant parking lot into a 24-hour community friendly party as the crowd awaited the opening, a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce kicked off the festivities. Located at 6800 S. 27th Street, the new Lincoln Chick-fil-A restaurant’s First 100 event awarded guests more than $32,000 in free food.

Featuring the chain’s newest Heritage interior and kitchen design, the Lincoln location can seat 127. Customers will be able to stay connected through the restaurant’s free Wi-Fi and parents will appreciate the indoor play area which includes an interactive section for toddlers. As the majority of Chick-fil-A customers choose to drive thru, the restaurant also offers dual drive-thru ordering lanes.

The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. until 10 p.m., serving a full breakfast menu until 10:30 a.m. Like all Chick-fil-A restaurants, it will be closed on Sunday.
