The Rabbit Hole Bakery Now Open

The Rabbit Hole Bakery (www.therabbitholebakery.com) is open for business, officially welcoming customers for the very first time on Saturday, September 17th. Coinciding with the Nebraska vs. Oregon home game, it was definitely a busy first day! To formally mark the opening and celebrate, a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce was held on November 15th.

Nestled in the Henkle & Joyce Hardware Building (also known as the Tool House) on the corner of 8th & Q Streets, The Rabbit Hole Bakery carefully chose its location in hopes of sharing its gourmet baked goods and Nebraska story with all those who visit the area. Along with being one of the newest businesses to call the Historic Haymarket district home, The Rabbit Hole Bakery is also run by some of the youngest owners: Beau Ballard (22) and Amanda Fuscher (24), who is also the head pastry chef.
The Rabbit Hole Bakery’s niche is small-batch baking, providing top-quality sweets with no shortcuts. Everything is baked from scratch every morning using the freshest and finest ingredients, with gluten-free and dairy-free options available.

As a perfect counterpart to the array of different pastry items and specialty cakes, The Rabbit Hole Bakery also has a curated selection of ports, champagnes, wines and liquors. Dessert cocktails are another signature offering, along with select pairings of elegant liqueurs and gourmet desserts. Combined with a charming atmosphere, The Rabbit Hole Bakery is a unique, contemporary concept that is a must-try.
