The Pius X Hall of Fame selection committee proudly announces the first honorees that will be inducted into its newly established Athletic Hall of Fame. The first ever Hall of Fame awards banquet will take place on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. in the Pius X commons.

After considering 73 nominations, the Hall of Fame committee has named seven individual athletes spanning two generations of alumni; a distinguished benefactor to the athletic department; a coach of significance and lasting impact; and a history-making team. The inductees are: Don Houser ’58 (deceased), Mick Ziegler ’64, Mike Bohaty ’66, Micah Heibel ’83, Jill (Noel) Korta ’83, Tom Burt ’91, Bill Ryan ’91, Coach Vince Aldrich (deceased), Msgr. Ivan Vap (Benefactor), and the 1973-74 Football Team.
