The Board of Prairie Health Ventures (PHV) (www.phvne.com) is pleased to announce that Rod Triplett has been appointed to the position of chief executive officer, effective October 1, 2015. Triplett will transition into his role of CEO as Dave Christensen retires at the end of December 2015.

Triplett currently serves as the board chairman of PHV and will be leaving CHI Health, where he has been president of Critical Access Hospitals and Regional Development. At CHI Health, he was focused on regional development across Nebraska and Southwestern Iowa, leading CHI Health’s Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs). He has strong relationships within the industry, having spent most of his career as a healthcare executive in the region.

He oversaw CHI Health’s Critical Access Networks, comprised of nearly 30 independent hospitals across Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas, and managed eight CAHs in Nebraska and Iowa. Additionally, he led the development of CHI Health’s telehealth services which included the installation of e-ICU in CAHs across the region and expanding services in telepsych and other telehealth services. A native of Gibbon, NE, he currently serves on the board of five hospitals in the region.
