KENL INN Staff Becomes S.A.F.E. Certified through American Kennel Club

KENL INN (kenl-inn.com) is excited to announce that they are now a certified S.A.F.E. (Safety, Assurance, Fundamentals, Education) grooming salon through the American Kennel Club (AKC).

The American Kennel Club recognizes the importance of proper grooming for the health, well-being, and overall comfort of dogs. The AKC Safety in the Salon course is designed to cover best practices focusing on pet care, health, and safety, and to enhance the knowledge and practices of trained groomers to ensure that these needs are met for all dogs in a salon. By educating on the best practices in grooming safety, the AKC helps teach pet care professionals the most up-to-date safety practices, so they can provide the best care possible to pets and for their owners.

KENL INN promotes life-long learning and improvement activities, giving their employees the opportunity for self-assessment and to continually expand and refresh their knowledge. KENL INN feels this demonstrates staff commitment to learning and engagement in improving their skills. The newly-certified staff members at KENL INN include Emily Ruwe, manager of the salon. She is certified in pet and human CPR and safety. Maria Swancara, Jenna Welcomer, and Denisha Kirsch are stylists in the salon. They are all certified in grooming and safety. Owner KQ Allen is very proud of her team for their accomplishments.
