June presents two major opportunities for you to experience Legacy Living at Legacy Retirement Communities. Confection Celebration, a popular signature event held annually at The Legacy, 5600 Pioneers, will take place on June 24th from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. This year’s event will include a cupcake decorating competition and of course the infamous live-cooking demonstration of Bananas Foster by Legacy’s Executive Chef. A complimentary shuttle will be running from the HyVee at 70th and Pioneers directly to the front door of The Legacy.

The third event in the educational Legacy of Learning series, “Dementia with Dignity,”  will be about taking away the fear and stigma of dementia and will be held on Thursday, June 25th at the Legacy Terrace, 5700 Fremont and on Tuesday, June 30th at the Legacy Estates, 7200 Van Dorn.  This session will be led by the Arbors Memory Care Community Director, Kathy Nannen. Both evenings will begin at 6:30 p.m. and guests are welcome to enjoy refreshments and drinks, so sign up today by calling Kayla at (402) 436-3000 or visit legacyretirement.com.
