The Legacy Retirement Communities led by Executive Chef John Giambaressi of DM&A in Boston with assistance of Robert Darrah, Executive Chef & Director of Dining Services, graduated six new chefs from the Healthcare Culinary Academy. The Healthcare Culinary Academy, an American Culinary Federation accredited program, is designed to train aspiring chefs in the classical and traditional cooking methods common in the culinary industry. This is the second time that the Legacy Retirement Communities has enrolled and graduated their entire culinary team. Currently, the Legacy Retirement Communities is the only retirement community in the area to maintain the HCA certification for their entire cooking staff.
