Legacy Retirement Communities (www.LegacyRetirement.com) is pleased to announce that Ellie Benes has joined their team as the director of marketing and public relations. In this position, Ellie will oversee Legacy’s marketing and advertising efforts at all four of their locations. Her responsibilities include promoting events, creating social media content, planning ad campaigns, and designing print materials. This position will allow Ellie the opportunity to wear many creative hats and help serve Legacy’s residents and staff, as well as the community.
While in high school, Ellie discovered she loved working with seniors while helping in dining services at Legacy’s 56th and Pioneers location. The Lincoln native later went on to graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2017 with a degree in advertising and public relations. Ellie most recently served as the director of sales and marketing at Oxbow Living Center in Ashland.
Ellie shared that family is the most important thing in the world to her, and she enjoys sharing her free time with her twin sister Erika, younger sister Tara, and younger brother Joel. Ellie and her fiancé Tyler recently adopted a German Shepherd-Husky mix named Luka. Ellie’s biggest hobby is singing and songwriting.
